Highways Agency Lean Strategy event to outline best UK highway project efficiency

The 1441 UK Highways Agency Lean Event hosted by 2316 A-one+, the Agency’s leading services provider, will provide an opportunity to hear the latest on the Highways Agency Lean Strategy’s plans and expectations both internally and within the supply chain.

Also showcasing examples of Lean Construction excellence, the event on Tuesday 11 March 9am-4pm at Pontefract Racecourse, Pontefract, West Yorkshire, England is aimed at Highways Agency, managing agent contractors, asset support contract service providers and those interested in Lean Construction.

Speakers at the event will be Derek Drysdale, Highways Agency Lean director, whose presentation is titled ‘Lean within the Highways Agency and its Supply Chain’; Andrew Jamieson, managing director of A-one+, will talk under the heading ‘Experience and benefits from deployment of Lean principles from a Leaders perspective’; and on ‘A-one+ Benefits of Lean visual management and Collaborative Planning when applied to ‘Programme planning and delivery’ and ‘Scheme Construction’. Finally, Neal Symmons, Highways Agency Lean technical manager, will speak under the heading ‘Accelerating lean deployment and maximising and sustaining benefits’.

The event is free for Highways Agency staff and the Highways Agency Supply Chain.
