Germany preparing to issue truck toll tenders

RSSGerman Transport Minister Peter Ramsauer has announced that the government is currently preparing to invite tenders from companies and consortia throughout Europe for the collection of Germany’s truck toll scheme, with effect from 2015. The contract with Toll Collect, the current operator of the truck toll billing system in Germany, will expire on 31 August 2015.
