“I fear that if the general public does not change their attitude towards safe driving, all of our roadways will get more dangerous for each and every one who drives or travels on America’s highways,” said Michaels. “The Driving Safety Club website is a dynamic resource that individual drivers and driving safety organisations can rely upon for relevant important safe driving information.”

The Driving Safety Club and its website is dedicated to providing driving safety lessons in many formats, including safe driving quizzes and digital videos, to highlight and educate young and old alike about safety issues critical to safe driving. Information, including highway accident statistics and safety tips, is available to prepare drivers to be safer before getting behind the wheel of a car, truck, motorcycle, or other personal or commercial vehicle.

“The truth is we are all responsible for each other’s lives when we drive and we need to take this responsibility very seriously,” continued Michaels. “For example, insurance companies call them ‘accidents’. But if a family member or you or I are involved in a serious or fatal accident, we call it a tragedy. The truth is, in most cases, these tragedies could have been avoided by simply changing basic attitudes towards driving. And, by realizing the enormous responsibility each of one of us takes on every time we get behind the wheel.”

The Driving Safety Club has already attracted the attention of various safe driving advocate organizations and law enforcement agencies throughout the United States. Michaels said it is testimony to the desire everyone has to make driving safer.

“Can individuals and organisations make a difference in how safe our highways are for drivers? Absolutely! It’s been proven by organisations like Mothers Against Drunk Drivers and similar programs throughout the nation,” he added.

“Our Mission is to simply make everyone more aware of driving safety issues, whether it’s about new laws, vehicle recalls, or distracted driving.”
