Czech republic starts planning for winter maintenance

The Czech republic’s Transport Ministry said spend close to €310 million for maintenance and winter gritting of class I roads. Winners of the tenders for 14 regional authorities should start their eight-year road maintenance contracts on 1 May 2017, according to media reports.

    Construction of the 5.6km stretch of the D3 motorway Cadca, Bukov - Svrcinovec in Slovakia could start by the end of the year.
