Major investments in Croatia's tolled highway network are being seen during this year.

Croatian Association of Toll Motorways Concessionaires (3035 HUKA) has revealed that investments in highways will reach €413.51 million in 2011, an increase of 23% compared to 2010. Some €352.5 million will be invested in new highways, an increase of 20.4% compared to 2010.

Meanwhile €63.45 million will be invested in existing highways, an increase of 39.5%. In 2010, investments totalled €290.1 billion. Rijeka-Zagreb Motorway (ARZ) and Bina Istra invested €39.44 million and €132.6 million, respectively. Major investments in Croatia's tolled highway network are being seen during this year.     Plans are in hand for infrastructure upgrades in Malaysia. The local government in Selangor State is to carry out a series of infrastructure projects, including the construction of three or four highways with a total investment of US$2.44 billion. Meanwhile a new 6km toll road will be built to link Marunda with Kalibaru terminal in Indonesia's Tanjung Priok. This will cost an estimated US$167 million and forms part of a plan to have a railway and toll road linking other major facilities with the terminal.
