Major investments in Croatia's tolled highway network are being seen during this year.

Croatian Association of Toll Motorways Concessionaires (3035 HUKA) has revealed that investments in highways will reach €413.51 million in 2011, an increase of 23% compared to 2010. Some €352.5 million will be invested in new highways, an increase of 20.4% compared to 2010.

Meanwhile €63.45 million will be invested in existing highways, an increase of 39.5%. In 2010, investments totalled €290.1 billion. Rijeka-Zagreb Motorway (ARZ) and Bina Istra invested €39.44 million and €132.6 million, respectively. Major investments in Croatia's tolled highway network are being seen during this year.     The European Investment Bank (EIB) has approved two loans worth €85 million for Croatia's road infrastructure. The first part of the loan is worth €60 million and will be used for construction of the Corridor Vc highway.
