Chinese city details road improvement plans

In China Ningbo City has set out a strategic plan to improve its road links and boost capacity.

In China Ningbo City has set out a strategic plan to improve its road links and boost capacity. In all the city will carry out 22 road projects and these will include work to a total of 491km of roads. The city is budgeting some US$1.7 billion for the work, which is intended to improve traffic flow and also increase safety standards for road users.

    South Korea has announced a programme of works that will see the country’s national road network being extended by over 900km. The budget of US$6.41 billion for the work has been set by the South Korean Government.
