Chinese city details road improvement plans

In China Ningbo City has set out a strategic plan to improve its road links and boost capacity.

In China Ningbo City has set out a strategic plan to improve its road links and boost capacity. In all the city will carry out 22 road projects and these will include work to a total of 491km of roads. The city is budgeting some US$1.7 billion for the work, which is intended to improve traffic flow and also increase safety standards for road users.

    A series of road improvement projects will now go ahead in Sydney Australia, following funding from the New South Wales (NSW) state Government. Five road upgrade projects will be carried out, in a bid to improve traffic flow and cut congestion. The funding is worth US$91.6 million (A$115 million) in all.
