Chinese city details road improvement plans

In China Ningbo City has set out a strategic plan to improve its road links and boost capacity.

In China Ningbo City has set out a strategic plan to improve its road links and boost capacity. In all the city will carry out 22 road projects and these will include work to a total of 491km of roads. The city is budgeting some US$1.7 billion for the work, which is intended to improve traffic flow and also increase safety standards for road users.

The upgrades will be carried out for a total distance of a 300km and will be carried out in phases. Work will commence in 2015.
