Aegis ITS and Team Econolite to merge

Aegis ITS, an Econolite Group company, has announced it will merge with fellow Econolite Group company, Team Econolite, to form a single division - Aegis ITS. Aegis 3278 ITS, an 5368 Econolite Group company, has announced it will merge with fellow Econolite Group company, Team Econolite, to form a single division – Aegis ITS. The consolidation, effective 1 January, 2012, is designed to provide complete ITS services, streamlining operational processes for enhanced customer service.

“As part of our ongoing efforts to offer customers a complete spectrum of services, this restructuring will significantly enhance our market responsiveness by consolidating our technical and support capabilities,” said Aegis ITS CEO, Douglas Terry. “In addition, by combining Team Econolite’s operations and maintenance expertise with our core competencies of ITS programme management, software development, system engineering, integration and deployment, we offer our customers support throughout the ITS lifecycle.”

According to Aegis ITS, there will be no change to Team Econolite’s current operations and maintenance contracts and services and the transition will be transparent.
