Indonesia toll projects Work on a 39km toll road linking Pemalang with Batang in Indonesia is expected to start in mid-2012, although the finance structure is still being established.
Indonesia’s government has set an impressive 2018 budget of some US$30.72 billion to develop infrastructure in the country. The funding will be split between the Ministry of Public Housing and Works, the Ministry of Transportation and for the special allocation fund. The Indonesian Government is aiming to boost economic growth during 2018 through its infrastructure development programme.
In Russia’s capital Moscow the finishing touches are being put to a plan to construct the city’s first tolled link. The northern relief road for Kutuzovsky prospect is expected to cost US$1.91 billion to build and will stretch a distance of 10.3km. The tender process for the concession package is being prepared at present and is expected to open for bids shortly. The bridges crossing the Serio, Adda and Oglio rivers are 84% complete, while the underpasses and drainage is 49% ready.
