Leading public services and highways and other infrastructure management firm 2958 Amey has achieved four top health and safety awards for all aspects of the business.

Following the acquisition of 1609 ENTERPRISE earlier this year, the newly combined, larger business, has achieved four awards from the 2518 Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) - one of Britain’s most respected health and safety charities.

Amey was recognised for its outstanding operational health and safety performance across the company’s divisions including Government, Built Environment, Consulting, Rail and Strategic Highways and Utilities.

The Gold Award recognises the company’s approach to occupational health and safety, achieving high levels of compliance and ensuring above average safety performance.

Gary Carvell, Group HSEA director said, “We are delighted that all of our business divisions have achieved recognition from RoSPA, for our efforts to keep people safe every day. The award is testament to the dedication of our employees in delivering services to our customers safely.”

David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said, “RoSPA firmly believes that organisations that demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention deserve recognition. Amey has shown that it is committed to striving for such continuous improvement and we are delighted to honour it through the presentation of these awards.”
