Rebloc barriers are on the straight and narrow

Rebloc says that its barriers with narrow working widths and high containment levels provide the lowest dynamic deflection to ensure minimum movement during an accident. As only limited space is available on a construction site, a low working width of the barrier is crucial. The aim is to maximise the room for traffic movement at the same time as construction operations. The working width of temporary barriers is determined by the width of the system plus its dynamic lateral movement in the event of an accident.

Rebloc’s coupling without loose parts prevents unauthorised removal of the barrier elements and eliminates installation errors. The company says that quick and easy installation is possible regardless of the weather. It is possible to install up to 400m of barrier in one hour.

Rebloc’s integrated noise barrier offers maximum noise protection while creating a highly effective noise barrier and vehicle restraint system. Rebloc says that its system meets the highest safety and quality standards and is tested according to European Standard EN 1317 (vehicle restraint system), EN 14388 and EN 1793 (noise barrier). The main advantage of the noise barrier system is the combination of a vehicle restraint system as a concrete safety barrier with an integrated noise barrier. It features a

Concrete barrier expert REBLOC has developed REBLOC 100SFP_8, a powerfully flexible barrier system for new bridges as well as for bridge refurbishment. Tested freestanding, the barrier achieves containment levels H2 with working-width W3 and H4b with W5. It is also possible to achieve H4b with W4 by using an additional position securing system. The safety concrete barrier is part of the REBLOC SWITCH product line which enables the use of the same system as either a temporary or a permanent barrier. All s
