German firm 7853 Schütte says that its ELB 500 series noise barriers are highly sound absorbent and can be used in an array of road and highway applications to reduce disturbance. Three versions are available, the standard ELB500, the single sided ELB500ZP with a single cement plate and double sided EL500ZP that is twin plated. All three are said to feature high rigidity due to extruded aluminium profiles and can be used with post spacings of up to 6m, while standard heights are 500mm with special sizes available on request. The profiles can be tailored to suit the acoustical or aesthetic needs of the installation with different corrugations available. The products feature 5mm holes and an integrated draining system, using pole dimensions from 160-240mm.
