2662 Brigade Electronics is unveiling its novel 360° Smarteye camera system to the global market at 7459 bauma Africa. Smarteye is the first in a new generation of intelligent vehicle safety solutions. The camera system is said to eradicate blind spots and reduce collisions and driver information overload thanks to a single view of the vehicle and its surroundings. Comprising four cameras placed around the vehicle, Smarteye technology works by joining each image together to provide a complete and accurate all-round view.

Powered by software from ASL Technology, a specialist software developer of video image processing and other products, each camera’s ultra-wide angle lens renders a realistic, light-balanced video image displayed in real time on a high-definition cab monitor, with programmable options to highlight areas of greatest risk.
