Serbia makes major plans for infrastructure expansion

The Serbian Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has released details of its plans for road infrastructure projects worth €2 billion by the end of 2016. The Serbian Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has released details of its plans for road infrastructure projects worth €2 billion by the end of 2016. The ministry aims to increase the efficiency of its road construction programme, compared with the last 10 years.     Serbia’s minister of construction and infrastructure, Zorana Mihajlovic, said that the southern part of the Corridor 10 motorway is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.     Serbia has managed to reduce the cost of building the Corridor 10 highway by €80 million. These funds will instead be used to pay for upgrades and improvements needed for the second section of the highway project, close to Neradovci.
