Serbia highway loan from Azerbaijan

An amended loan agreement will help with the construction of a major highway project in Serbia. The funding for the project is being provided by Azerbaijan. The loan facility for the work on the Corridor 11 highway project has now been extended for an additional two years. The total loan for the project is €308 million. The project is now due for completion in May 2018. The work is being carried out by Azerbaijan-based contractor Azvirt.

An amended loan agreement will help with the construction of a major highway project in Serbia. The funding for the project is being provided by Azerbaijan. The loan facility for the work on the Corridor 11 highway project has now been extended for an additional two years. The total loan for the project is €308 million. The project is now due for completion in May 2018. The work is being carried out by Azerbaijan-based contractor 5414 Azvirt.

    Serbia has managed to reduce the cost of building the Corridor 10 highway by €80 million. These funds will instead be used to pay for upgrades and improvements needed for the second section of the highway project, close to Neradovci. So far some 180km of the Corridor 10 highway has been built over a 40 month time frame. A further 150km of the highway has still to be built.
