Paraguay is in the process of sourcing a portion of the necessary funding for its Transchaco road project. The financing package has to be finalised but could be delivered by the 2791 Inter-American Development Bank (IADB). Funding worth some US$150 million could be provided by the IADB.

However further international funding will be required for the project to be delivered. Including the IADB input, this could range from $400-500 million.
