New road connection for Ludwigshafen in Germany

A new road project is now to be carried out in the German city of Ludwigshafen, The project involves the reconstruction of the Hochstraße Nord road. Approval for the work has been given by the German Federal Ministry of Transport, which is also providing €154.2 million for the project.

A new road project is now to be carried out in the German city of Ludwigshafen, The project involves the reconstruction of the Hochstraße Nord road. Approval for the work has been given by the German Federal Ministry of Transport, which is also providing €154.2 million for the project. The City of Ludwigshafen is providing an addition €64.25 million to the Government of Rhineland-Palatinate for the work. This financing will pay for 85% of the expected cost of the project, with construction planned to commence in 2020 and taking eight years to complete.
