Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur will benefit from a major road building programme. Some 72.km of road building work is planned for the city, worth a total of US$ 1.54 billion. The Malaysian company Ekovest is managing the operations, with the programme of works intended to improve traffic flows within the city centre.

According to the Royal Malaysian Police, the number of fatalities from road crashes dropped to 4,940 during the first nine months of 2015 and ending on September 30th. The plans calls for the construction of some 54km of flyovers to be built in the city of Yangon, the country’s former capital.
