The road company ADM is also planning to widen the Casablanca - Berrechid highway to three lanes. The tender process is opening shortly. The route currently carries around 70,000 vehicles/day and is subject to congestion, while there are also safety concerns over the present stretch due to the heavy traffic volumes.
