Versatile underbridge inspection equipment

Italian access equipment specialist Barin has supplied one of its novel ABCLS units to a customer in Germany. The underbridge inspection machine is being used by rental firm Theo in Tecklenburg. Barin previously supplied two similar units for bridge inspection to Germany, with one being bought by Munich-Kirchheim firm Roggermaier Arbeitsbuhnen and another by Berlin company Easy Lift. Versatile and compact this latest machine has been mounted on a Mercedes Axor 1829 truck chassis with a GVW of 18tonnes.

Italian access equipment specialist 1481 Barin has supplied one of its novel ABCLS units to a customer in Germany. The underbridge inspection machine is being used by rental firm Theo in Tecklenburg. Barin previously supplied two similar units for bridge inspection to Germany, with one being bought by Munich-Kirchheim firm 1597 Roggermaier Arbeitsbuhnen and another by Berlin company Easy Lift. Versatile and compact this latest machine has been mounted on a 2796 Mercedes Axor 1829 truck chassis with a GVW of 18tonnes. In this specification the machine can operate in a single lane of traffic and offers a bridge barrier clearance of 3.5m, sidewalk clearance of 2.7m, horizontal outreach underbridge of 15m, maximum vertical reach underbridge of 7.6m and has a platform capacity of 450kg. The machine can be fully deployed for use in 12 minutes and also features two vertical lifts on the platform that can be raised 4m and offer load capacities of 120kg each.

The model ABC 60/l belongs to the automatic bridge control range and the deal was handled by Barin’s distributor company in Hong Kong, New Motion. The skid unit machine, mounted on a two-axle Nissan truck chassis, was shipped in a container in pieces and then reassembled locally. The unit, made of aluminium alloy, is an underbridge platform-type machine with a maximum undebridge working length of 6m, and has a total payload of 300kg.
