Atlas Copco’s new MB 1650 hydraulic breaker is lighter

Atlas Copco’s new MB 1650 hydraulic breaker is lighter and more compact than its predecessor, the MB 1700, yet it gives the same high performance. According to the manufacturer, the MB 1650 weighs in at 1,650k and is suitable for carriers in the weight class 19-32tonnes. A redesigned service window offers greater accessibility and thus makes the attachment more maintenance friendly. With no high-pressure accumulator, the MB 1650´s maintenance and repair costs are lower, said Atlas.

Performance is optimised by AutoControl, an automatic piston stroke length witching system, which adjusts the output balance between impact energy and rate during operation.

Atlas Copco´s EnergyRecovery feature automatically uses piston recoil energy to increase performance without additional hydraulic input. This also lowers vibrations.

The MB 1650 is equipped with ContiLube II, a self-bleeding automatic lubrication device for optimised grease consumption and continuous lubrication.

DustProtector II - an optional dust sealing system - will extend the service life of components and reduce grease consumption. The built-in check valve reduces dust intake into the tool guiding area and the percussion chamber.
