Work on Serbian highway to be carried out by Chinese company Shandong High Speed Group

Chinese firm Shandong High Speed Group is to carry out a portion of the construction activity for Serbia’s Corridor 11 highway. The company will commence work on the section between Obrenovac to Ub and from Lajkovac to Ljig shortly. The agreement was signed between the Shandong High Speed Group and the Serbian Government. Work on the project is due to for completion within 37 months. Exactly which portions of the construction work on these sections has not been revealed however. At present several sections

The company will commence work on the section between Obrenovac to Ub and from Lajkovac to Ljig shortly. The agreement was signed between the Shandong High Speed Group and the Serbian Government. Work on the project is due to for completion within 37 months. Exactly which portions of the construction work on these sections has not been revealed however. At present several sections of the Corridor 11 highway are under construction with work being carried out by firms from Azerbaijan as well as local companies. The project value has not been mentioned.

The construction work will be carried out by a Chinese contractor, which has signed a deal with the Macedonian Government. The Chinese Sinohydro Corporation will build two stretches of highway linking Kicevo-Ohrid and Miladinovci-Stip. These will measure 56.7km and 53km long, respectively.
