UAE bridge deal for Wade Adams

Wade Adams Contracting is carrying out the package of works for a new bridge in Dubai. The bridge will be 600m long and will carry 12 lanes of traffic, connecting mainland Dubai with the Deira Islands. The contract is worth close to US$122 million, with the work scheduled for completion in mid-2018. The contract was awarded to Wade Adams by the property development firm Nakheel.

Wade Adams Contracting is carrying out the package of works for a new bridge in Dubai. The bridge will be 600m long and will carry 12 lanes of traffic, connecting mainland Dubai with the Deira Islands.     The final section of a defunct bridge in Saskatoon has now been removed by demolition contractor Rakowski Cartage & Wrecking. Excavators fitted with hydraulic breakers were employed by the firm to break up the final span, which collapsed into the river as planned. Demolition work to remove the defunct structure commenced in 2012. Other sections of the bridge were removed using explosive demolition earlier this year.
