Turkey bridge connection tenders

The tender process has been held in Turkey for the construction of connection roads for Istanbul's third bridge spanning the Bosporus. The focus of the road project will be the construction of the 170km Kurtkoy-Akyazi highway. The tender process has been held in Turkey for the construction of connection roads for Istanbul's third bridge spanning the Bosporus. The focus of the road project will be the construction of the 170km Kurtkoy-Akyazi highway. In all eight groups submitted bids, including 4144 Cengiz Insaat-5095 Limak Insaat joint-venture (JV), 3340 Makyol Insaat, 4150 Kolin Insaat-Kalyon Insaat-Hasen Yapi JV, Tekfen Insaat-Dogus Insaat JV, 3338 Nurol Insaat-Ozaltin Insaat-Fernas Insaat-Ozgun Insaat JV, 2709 STFA Holding- 4143 Gulsan Insaat- 7010 Yapi Merkezi JV, IC Ictas Insaat-Ictas Altyapi Yatirimlari-1324 Astaldi-Astaldi Concessioni JV, Celikler Insaat-YSE Yapi Sanayi-Polat Yol Yapi Sanayi JV. The Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge is planned to be opened by the end of 2016 while the connecting roads will be complete by the end of 2018.
