Tenders for Dominican tunnel project

Tendering is now open for the second phase of the Corredor Duarte road project in the Dominican Republic.

Tendering is now open for the second phase of the Corredor Duarte road project in the Dominican Republic. The second phase of the project is expected to cost from US$180-200 million. The new link will feature multiple tunnel systems, on the Tiradentes, Winston Churchill, Maximo Gomez and Abraham Lincoln avenues. Construction of the 'Ortega y Gasset' tunnel, between Avenue 27 de Febrero and the Santo Domingo Autonomous University (USAD), is already 40% complete and will be officially opened in November 2011.
