A new bridge is being built in Taiwan and is due for completion by June 2016.

A new bridge is being built in Taiwan and is due for completion by June 2016. The bridge will be constructed at Kinmen and will measure 5.4km long. The structure will link Little Kinmen (Lieyu) with Kinmen Island (Greater Kinmen). The project is costing US$239 million. The progress of the construction work is being monitored by the Taiwan Area National Expressway Engineering Bureau.

    Construction work is underway in Uganda for a new expressway project. The 24km Busega-Mpigi Expressway project is being handled by the Chinese contractor China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCEC). The contract is being overseen by the Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA). Financing for the project worth US$143 million has been provided in the shape of a loan from the African Development Bank (ADB).
