Swedish tunnel project underway

Work is underway in Sweden on a new tunnel, which will connect Hjulstra and Akalla. Demolition of existing structures is being carried to prepare for the tunnel, which is located in the north of capital Stockholm. The tunnel itself is expected to be complete during 2021.

    A Danish company, Femern, is submitting documents for the Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link, an immersed tunnel that will connect Germany with Denmark.     Construction work is underway once more for Croatia’s Peljesac Bridge project. The 2.4km bridge is being built by Chinese contractor China Road and Bridge Corporation.
