Strabag wins €83.3mn Bosnia motorway contract

Strabag has won an €83.3 million contract to build a 10.4km section of the Corridor 5c motorway in Bosnia. The major contract for the Svilaj-Odžak section of the international motorway corridor includes the construction of highway, the border crossing at Svilaj, the Svilaj toll station, two service areas and two motorway exits.

945 Strabag has won an €83.3 million contract to build a 10.4km section of the Corridor 5c motorway in Bosnia.

The major contract for the Svilaj-Odžak section of the international motorway corridor includes the construction of highway, the border crossing at Svilaj, the Svilaj toll station, two service areas and two motorway exits.

Work on the new Corridor 5c section is due to begin in October 2013 and is set to last 14 months. The motorway is to be opened to traffic in December 2014. The building consortium is held jointly by Strabag (50%), its partner Euro-Asfalt (49%) and ZGP (1%). Work will be carried out by Strabag, Sarajevo.
