A new project is planned is Russian city St Petersburg that will extend Suzdalsky Prospect from Vyborgkoye Highway to the road to Kamenka. The US$130 million project is at the tender stage with local firm Lendorstroy-2 so far being the only bidder for the detailed design and construction contract. The plan calls for a 3.5km road link and a bridge over the Vyborgskoye Highway and a viaduct over railway lines. The work is expected to take 23 months to construct and should be ready for traffic by late July 2013.

    A road widening project worth US$134.3 million is now going ahead in Ecuador. The road connecting Aloag with Santo Domingo is being improved along a 100km stretch, widening the route so that it will feature two lanes in either direction instead of the single lane in either direction at present. This will boost the transport connection between Pichincha Province and Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas Province. The contract was originally awarded in 2015 but stalled in 2017 following a disagreement over tolling.
