A new project is planned is Russian city St Petersburg that will extend Suzdalsky Prospect from Vyborgkoye Highway to the road to Kamenka. The US$130 million project is at the tender stage with local firm Lendorstroy-2 so far being the only bidder for the detailed design and construction contract. The plan calls for a 3.5km road link and a bridge over the Vyborgskoye Highway and a viaduct over railway lines. The work is expected to take 23 months to construct and should be ready for traffic by late July 2013.

    A new bridge is being built to connect Serny Island in St Petersburg. The bridge will feature three lanes of traffic in either direction, as well as pedestrian and cycling facilities.
