South Africa’s new highway

A new highway project is planned for Gauteng Province in South Africa. The highway will measure 35km long and is expected to cost close to US$520 million.

A new highway project is planned for Gauteng Province in South Africa. The highway will measure 35km long and is expected to cost close to US$520 million. Building the new highway will help reduce traffic congestion on the west side of Johannesburg as well as improving access to OR Tambo International  Airport. This will be the first highway to be constructed in Gauteng Province for four decades.
