Slovakia road tenders opening

Slovakian road tenders are opening for bids.

Road project tenders with a value of €40 million are opening in Slovakia during 2022. Further road tenders will be opening in 2023, with a value of €140 million.

The tender processes will be managed by Slovakia’s national highway company, NDS. Included in the tenders will be a section of the R1 expressway between Banska Bystrica and Slovenska Lupca. Tendering is still underway for the Lietavska Lucka - Dubna Skala Tunnel.

Meanwhile, the deadline has been extended for the tender process for a bypass section around Presov. This bypass section will form part of the R4 route. The work will take 42 months to complete and the contract is worth €283 million.
