LiuGong is actively involved in the development of the Silk Road project

The Forum for Transport Construction and Logistics of Silk Road Economic Belt was held recently in Xinjiang. Zeng Guang’an, Chairman of 5389 Guangxi 269 LiuGong Machinery and President of Guangxi LiuGong Group attended the forum and gave a speech, “LiuGong Supports Transit Construction along the Silk Road Economic Belt (SREB)”.

The Silk Road is an important trade route, traversing the Asia-Europe continent. Due to the harsh topography, large, sparsely populated area and lack of modern construction equipment, transit construction has been a problem. However, China’s construction equipment manufacturers, such as LiuGong, are providing major support for the progress of the project.

It is been more than 10 years since LiuGong put forward its global strategy. Today, LiuGong has grown to be a company with more than 400 dealers in 130 counties.

From cooperating with global leading companies 196 Cummins and ZF to establishing a factory in India and completing the biggest merger & acquisition project in Poland, LiuGong has planned a good strategy layout along the Silk Road Economic Belt (SREB).

LiuGong says that it now has a strong presence all along the SREB, providing sales outlets, service and parts in the five Central Asian countries, Russia, Mongolia, Germany, Poland, Latvia and Pakistan. With the acquisition of HSW, LiuGong has built up a strong dealer network and a perfect marketing landscape along the SREB.
Being an important part of the fourth China-Europessia Expo, the forum is a high-end national platform aiming at promoting the transit transportation industry. The Ministers of transport of the above 11 countries all attended the forum.
