The southern section of Serbia's Corridor 10 highway is now carrying traffic, with only final works needed to complete the link. This highway section measures 88km long and runs from Horgos to Bikovo, with all works on the highway section due to be completed by August 2011. Works on the 200km Corridor 10 section that runs from the Hungarian border through the City of Novi Sad, across the Beska Bridge over the Danube river and through to Belgrade is due for completion by early September 2011. The southern part will be 200km long. Work on the Horgos-Novi Sad section of the Corridor 10 highway is estimated to cost some ?97.74 million and the client is Serbian roads company 3235 Koridori Srbije.

With construction delayed and the matter being debated, the Serbian Ministry for Infrastructure, which reported the schedule delay, says the country is working as fast as possible, with 22km being built/year.
