Plans for Serbia’s Fruskogorski Corridor are nearing completion. The 48km highway is expected to cost €600 million to construct and work is due to commence in the second quarter of 2021.

The project is being planned by the Serbian roads firm, Putevi Srbije. The company will work with contractor China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) on the project.

Two of the more complex portions of the project are a bridge spanning the River Danube close to Fruska Gora as well as a 3.5km tunnel stretch.
