Serbia highway projects moving ahead

Progress is being seen in Serbia with regard to some of the country’s key highway projects. The Ljig-Preljina stretch of the Corridor 11 highway will open for traffic at the end of October 2016.     Construction work on the Lajkovac-Ljig and Obrenovac-Ub sections of Serbia’s Corridor 10 highway are said to be on-track.   • Serbia-Bosnia highway project funding being secured

    The necessary financing package for Serbia’s key highway project is now being secured. The Belgrade to Sarajevo highway is already under construction, with 60km of the link having been built so far. The existing section of the highway connects Obrenovac with Ljig, while work on the southern stretch of the route is due to commence shortly.
