Serbia highway project due in 2018

Work to build Serbia’s new Moravski Koridor highway will commence during 2018.

Work to build Serbia’s new Moravski Koridor highway will commence during 2018. The plans for the project have been released by Serbia’s Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure. Bechtel has been in talks with the ministry regarding work on the 110km highway from Pojate to Preljina. This link will join the Corridor 10 and Corridor 11 highways, although the cost of the project has not so far been revealed.

    An amended loan agreement will help with the construction of a major highway project in Serbia. The funding for the project is being provided by Azerbaijan. The loan facility for the work on the Corridor 11 highway project has now been extended for an additional two years. The total loan for the project is €308 million.
