Russian route repair contract awarded

Contractor VAD is to carry out the repair works to the A-181 Scandinavia Highway in Russia. The work is worth close to US$43 million and will have to be completed by 17th December 2018. The upgrade work will be carried out on the section of the highway that lies between Vyborg and Svetogorsk.

    Improvement work worth US$116 million will be carried out on Highway 59 in Texas. The 10.6km stretch being upgraded lies between San Jacinto County and Cleveland. The improvements will include provision for emergency hurricane evacuation, effectively allowing this section of road to meet Interstate standards.
