Russian route repair contract awarded

Contractor VAD is to carry out the repair works to the A-181 Scandinavia Highway in Russia. The work is worth close to US$43 million and will have to be completed by 17th December 2018. The upgrade work will be carried out on the section of the highway that lies between Vyborg and Svetogorsk.

    Austrian contractor Strabag has won a stake in a design and build road contract in Poland. The project is worth a total of €133 million and involves building a section of highway carrying three lanes in either direction.
