Qatar’s new road connections

Qatar is to benefit from new road connections.

New urban road and cycle links will be provided in Qatar with the commencement of the Roads and Infrastructure Project in South Al Meshaf-Package 9. Construction of the roads and cycle facilities is being managed by the Public Works Authority (Ashghal). The project is worth some US$149.5 million. Around 23km of road links will be constructed or improved as part of the project, while 9.5km of cycle lanes will be built and the work should be finished during 2023.
