Polish road project – bids submitted

Bids have now been submitted for a key Polish road project.

The bidding stage for the S19 road project in Poland is now being completed. The local contractor, Budimex, submitted the leading bid for the project.

The new dual carriageway will connect Bialystok Zachod with Bialystok Ksiezno junction. Budimex made a bid of close to €109 million for the work.

    Croatian media are reporting a dispute between two consortia and that of the China Road and Bridges over the Peljeski bridge project. Croatia’s national roads company Hrvatske Ceste chose China Road and Bridges but the decision is being challenged by a consortium led by the Italian firm Astaldi and one by Turkish CT Ictas.
