Polish road project – bids submitted

Bids have now been submitted for a key Polish road project.

The bidding stage for the S19 road project in Poland is now being completed. The local contractor, Budimex, submitted the leading bid for the project.

The new dual carriageway will connect Bialystok Zachod with Bialystok Ksiezno junction. Budimex made a bid of close to €109 million for the work.

    Strabag consortium has signed a contract with the Polish General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) for construction of an S6 dual carriageway section. The work, worth around US$113 million, is due for completion in April 2019. It also makes Strabag responsible for more than 100km of S6 work.
