Plans in hand for new Slovakian tunnel construction

Work to complete the Kosice-Ruzomberok highway connection in Slovakia is now being planned. The remaining stretch still to be built is for the South-West Presov by-pass, with the most challenging section being the road tunnel at Presov, which will be 2km long. Work to complete the Kosice-Ruzomberok highway connection in Slovakia is now being planned. The remaining stretch still to be built is for the South-West Presov by-pass, with the most challenging section being the road tunnel at Presov, which will be 2km long.     The route for new tunnel links for Slovakia’s D1 highway has been agreed. New tunnels now look set to be built on the 13.5km stretch between Turany and Hubova section of the D1 highway.
