Simex says that its TFV range of attachments is proving popular in the Chinese market for pile preparation
Italian attachments specialist 1141 Simex reports a strong demand in China for its novel TFV units. Designed for such duties as pile preparation, the three model range is said to be highly productive and well suited to Chinese market needs.
These units are used for scarifying the top of a newly installed pile, allowing it to bond more effectively to the structure that is subsequently erected on top. With China’s construction sector featuring the placement of vast quantities of piles to support new structures, this has fuelled market demand for the TFV tools.

The smallest units, the TFV 400, suits excavators weighing from 7-12tonnes and offers a cutter head rotation speed of 100rpm. The mid-range TFV600 suits excavators in the 10-18tonne range and operates at 90rpm. The top-of-the-range TFV850 unit meanwhile operates at up to 80rpm and is suited to excavators in the 15-25tonne class.
