Philippines expressway project under construction

Construction is now underway for the 27km Cavite stretch of the Cavite-Laguna-Expressway (CAVEX) project in the Philippines.

Construction is now underway for the 27km Cavite stretch of the Cavite-Laguna-Expressway (CAVEX) project in the Philippines. The work is being carried out by MPCALA Holdings (MPCALA), a division of 3195 Metro Pacific Tollways. The project is costing US$221.3 million. Work is still ongoing for the Laguna stretch of the CAVEX project, with completion due in mid-2019. The entire 45km CAVEX route should be ready for traffic in 2021 and will be equipped with the latest speed monitoring, weigh-in-motion and ANPR technology.
