Oman road projects worth US$1.39bn approved by government

The government of Oman has approved 13 road projects costing US$1.39 billion (OMR 535.5 million). Fidrichi Sterling and Larsen and Toubro (L&T) received deals worth $344.51 million (OMR 132.6 million) and $352.05 million (OMR 135.61 million) respectively to build the fifth and fourth package of Al Batinah Expressway. Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) won a $321.91 million (OMR 124 million) contract to build the 45km sixth package of the same key Expressway.

The government of Oman has approved 13 road projects costing US$1.39 billion (OMR 535.5 million).

Fidrichi Sterling and Larsen and Toubro (L&T) received deals worth $344.51 million (OMR 132.6 million) and $352.05 million (OMR 135.61 million) respectively to build the fifth and fourth package of Al Batinah Expressway. 1356 Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) won a $321.91 million (OMR 124 million) contract to build the 45km sixth package of the same key Expressway.

First International Projects has secured a Deal worth $163.16 million (OMR 62.85 million) to expand Mahdha /Al Rawdha road, while 945 Strabag Oman won a $119.67 million (OMR 46.1 million) contract to build the second part of Sinaw-Mahout road.

Elsewhere, Oman Consolidated Contractor Company received a deal worth $46.41 million (OMR 17.88 million) to build a bridge over Falaj al Qabail roundabout.
