Nigeria’s FEC approve road works valued at US$768.43 million

Nigeria’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved reconstruction deals for the five main economic arterial roads worth US$768.43 million (NGN 123.8 billion). A $92.1 million (NGN 14.99 billion) deal will see Julius Berger carry out the Apapa-Oshodi expressway section 2, phase II reconstruction has also been approved. RSSNigeria’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved reconstruction deals for the five main economic arterial roads worth US$768.43 million (NGN 123.8 billion).

A $92.1 million (NGN 14.99 billion) deal will see Julius Berger carry out the Apapa-Oshodi expressway section 2, phase II reconstruction has also been approved. The project is targeted for completion in 15 months.  Kopek Construction has secured a $45.1 million (NGN 7.34 billion) deal to complete the Akure to Ilesha road in 21. Triacta Nigeria has won a 67.03 million (NGN 10.91 billion) contract for the rehabilitation of Mokwa to Bida road over the next two years. The second section of the Enugu-Port Harcourt dual carriageway will be built within 40 months by Arab Contractors Nigeria who secured a construction deal worth $312.69 million (NGN 50.89 billion). Finally, Setraco Nigeria has won a $243.01 million contract to build first section of the Enugu-Port Harcourt dual carriage way over the next 40 months.
