A new bridge is planned to connect Krasnodar in Russia with the Republic of Adygea, part of the Russian Federation. The US$105.1 million project would carry two lanes of traffic in either direction. This would be an alternative to the proposed Yablonovsky Bridge, the project for which has not so far progressed beyond initial plans.

A new bridge project is being planned for Serbia. The structure will span the Zapadna Morava River. The expected cost of the work has not so far been disclosed. Building the bridge will however improve access for construction work on the Prejina to Pozega highway.
A series of proposed infrastructure projects have been given approval in Thailand. Worth some US$213.3 million, the projects will be implemented in Udon Thani Province, Bueng Kan Province, Nong Khai Province, Loei Province and Nong Bua Lamphu Province.
Transport infrastructure works being planned include a new port on the Mekong River and road works in Chiang Kan Province and Loei Province. In addition, a new 139km road will connect Udon Thani with Bueng Kan.
Major new highway projects are now underway in the Philippines. The tender process is opening for the Laguna Lakeshore Expressway-Dike project, which will be worth some US$2.59 billion in all. The new expressway will connect Los Banos with Taguig City and when it is complete, will improve journey times from Laguna to Metro Manila by cutting congestion.
